Vitamin C
Understanding Vitamin C and it's role in wellbeing
Vitamin C, also known as absorbic acid, is an essential nutrient that plays a significant role in supporting overall health and vitality. As a powerful antioxidant, it helps protect cells from damage, contributes to a healthy immune response, and supports collagen production for skin, joints, and connective tissues. Vitamin C is also important for energy levels and can assist in the body's natural healing processes.
When Vitamin C levels are low, you might notice signs such as:
-
Low energy or fatigue
-
Skin appearing dull or less vibrant
-
Increased frequency of feeling unwell
-
Slower recovery from minor cuts or bruises
-
Gum sensitivity
Vitamin C is naturally abundant in many fruits and vegetables, particularly in citrus fruits like oranges, lemons, and grapefruits, as well as in strawberries, kiwi, and pineapple. Vegetables such as bell peppers, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, and spinach are also excellent sources of Vitamin C. Since the body doesn’t store Vitamin C for long, it’s essential to consume it regularly through diet or supplements to support overall wellness. For those who may need an additional boost, Vitamin C injections provide an alternative way to ensure adequate levels of this important nutrient.
Adequate Vitamin C intake is key for maintaining health and supporting the body’s natural defences and resilience.

Vitamin B12
Understanding Vitamin B12 and its role in wellbeing
Vitamin B12 is a vital, water-soluble nutrient that supports overall wellness and daily vitality. It plays an important part in maintaining balanced energy, supporting mood regulation, aiding digestion, and helping the immune system stay strong. Low levels of Vitamin B12 may lead to symptoms that can affect how you feel day to day, such as:
-
Persistent tiredness
-
Feelings of stress
-
Reduced appetite
-
Low or fluctuating moods
-
Occasional light-headedness
-
Difficulty concentrating or "brain fog"
-
Skin that appears paler than usual
Found naturally in animal-based foods like meat, fish, and dairy, B12 is vital for helping the body produce red blood cells, supporting nerve function, and contributing to DNA synthesis. For many people, B12 intake through diet alone may not always be sufficient, especially for those with dietary restrictions or absorption issues.
Because B12 is not stored long-term in the body, regular intake is essential to keep levels balanced. Many people turn to Vitamin B12 supplements or injections as a way to maintain healthy levels, making it a popular option for those looking to support their natural energy, overall wellness, and mental clarity.
Ensuring adequate B12 intake can make a difference to your body’s natural energy and wellbeing.
